The Prime Minister lauds efforts to tackle post-war bomb, mine consequences(08-08-2018)

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc lauded bomb and mine consequence recovery efforts over the past years while chairing a meeting of the National Steering Committee on the Settlement of Post-War Unexploded Ordnance and Toxic Chemical Consequences (Steering Committee 701) in Hanoi on August 7. It was the first meeting since the committee made debut in April 2018.

Launching the portal providing information of martyrs and martyrs’s graves(07-28-2018)

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the war invalids and martyrs’ Day (July 27th, 1947 – July 27th, 2018), in the evening of July 26th, 2018, at Son Tay cemetery in Son Tay town of Hanoi, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs cooperated with Ministry of Information and Communication and Vietnam National Television held the ceremony of presenting the certificates of recognition for the dedication and launching the Portal providing the information on martyrs and martyrs’ graves. Attending the event were the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh - Head of the Party Central Committee Commission on Organization; Mr. Tran Thanh Man – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Head of Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the PCC’s Theoretical Council; Mr. Uong Chu Luu – Vice President of the National Assembly; Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam; Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and Leaders from the ministries, sectors, Hanoi People’s Committee and the revolutionary contributors and families of martyrs.

Portal providing information on heroic martyrs, Martyrs’ graves and martyrs’ Cemetery to be launched before the date of July 20th(06-18-2018)

This is the direction of the Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) Dao Ngoc Dung at the working session with Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost) about the Scheme of Portal providing information on heroic martyrs, Martyrs’ graves and martyrs’ Cemetery on June 15th, 2018, at the Ministry’s Head office. According to the objective of the Scheme, in the first period, the portal will be launched in July, 2018.

Vietnamese soldiers’ remains brought home from Laos(06-16-2018)

The remains of 25 Vietnamese soldiers who died during wartime in Laos were repatriated from Oudomsay province, Laos, on June 14.

National Conference honours outstanding contributors 2017(07-27-2017)

On July 26, the National conference honouring outstanding people with special contribution to the nation was held in Hanoi. Attending the conference were Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, honoured 700 outstanding war invalids, heroic Vietnamese mothers, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, ex-youth volunteers, and the relatives of martyrs and revolutionary contributors, representing over 9 million national contributors across the country.

Candle-lighting ceremonies honour war heroes, martyrs(07-27-2017)

A candle-lighting ceremony in honour of war heroes and martyrs took place at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery in the central province of Quang Tri on July 26 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27). The event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training and Quang Tri province.
