Forum shares experience in ensuring social welfare for vulnerable groups(03-21-2019)

To share the domestic and international experience as well as the practical issue from the various aspects in assessment of social impact in Vietnam for recently, the German Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs held a forum in Hanoi on March 20th 2019. Mr. Ha Dinh Bon - Director General of Department of Legal Affairs and Mr. Jasper Abramoski – National Director (GIZ) co-chaired the Forum.

Launching the year of safety for women, children(03-07-2019)

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has affirmed the Vietnamese Party and State’s consistent policy of ensuring rights of people, including women and children. The Prime Minister made the statement during a teleconference held by the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU)’s Central Committee in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on March 6 to launch “The Safety Year for Women and Children”, contributing to the national action plan for the United Nations (UN) Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030.

Vietnam makes great strides in promoting gender equality(12-14-2018)

Vietnam has made great achievements in promoting gender equality and narrowing the gender gap, especially in terms of employment, health care, and education. The Ministry of Labour - Invalids, and Social Affairs (MoLISA) launched an action month for gender equality and prevention of gender-based violence from November 15 to December 15, 2018. This is the third year the ministry has carried out this activity.

Workshop talks experiences in preventing sexual abuse against women, girls(12-06-2018)
