On December 07, 2017, in Hanoi, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) organized a programme to call for financial support for needy children in Vietnam. Attending the programme were Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Chairwoman of the NFVC Council; Deputy Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, member of the NFVC Council Dao Hong Lan, and the members of NFVC Council and representatives from the agencies, enterprises supporting children through NFVC.

Inaugurating "National Hotline - 111" - Special public service for children protection(12-07-2017)

On December 6, 2017, in Hanoi, the National Committee for Children held a meeting to discuss the Work Plan in 2018 of the Committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Committee for Children Vu Duc Dam. On this occasion, Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs held the inauguration ceremony of the National Hotline for child protection - 111.

Hanoi meeting marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities(12-04-2017)

On December 2, 2017, in Hanoi, National Committee for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) in collaboration with the Hanoi Association of People with Disabilities held Meeting responsed the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3), drawing the participation of more than 300 disabled people in the capital and surrounding localities.

More than 6,000 people with disabilities from 16 southern provinces and cities enjoyed free entry, art performances and food at a festival in the Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Site in Ho Chi Minh City on December 2.
