The signing ceremony on technical cooperation in the field of Occupational Safety and health(10-05-2018)

On October 4th, 2018, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and the Korea Agency for Occupational Safety and Health (KOSHA) held the signing ceremony of the Technical Cooperation Agreement 2018 - 2021. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung, Mr. Lee Chul Woo - Vice Chairman of KOSHA, Mr. Ha Tat Thang , Head of Department of Work Safety (MOLISA) and leaders of some relevant units.

In eight months of 2018: Vietnam sends 86,000 workers abroad(10-02-2018)

Vietnam has sent more than 86,000 workers to work abroad in the first eight months in 2018, accounting for 78% of target of the year, according to the Ministry of Labour- Invalids and Social Affairs. In August alone, the number of guest workers amounted to 13,100 people, most of whom went to Japan (6,880 people), Taiwan (5,130 people), and the Republic of Korea (540 people). The ministry expects to send about 110,000 Vietnamese labourers to work overseas in 2018.

Minister Dao Ngoc Dung receives Chairman of Chisholm Institute(09-07-2018)

On September 05th, 2018, Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs had a cordial meeting with the Delegation from Australian National vocational training Center led by Mr. Stephen Marks – Chairman of Chisholm Institute under TAFE, Victoria state, Australia. At the meeting, the two sides discussed on the implementation situation of the pilot training work of 12 professionals in Vietnam, some results towards the comprehensive and sustainable cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Australia in the field of vocational education.

Vietnam's Team achieves 7 golden medal in the 12th ASEAN’s Skills Competition(09-05-2018)

According to the latest result, Vietnam’s Delegation ranked the 3rd position of the delegations with 7 candidates achieved golden medals, 7 competitors awarded silver medals, 6 competitors received bronze medals and 16 professional excellent certifications.

Attending the event were Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep; Mr. Dang Sy Dung – Deputy Director General of the Department of Overseas Labour; Mr. Ha Xuan Tung – Director of the Center of Overseas Labour; Mr. Rene Herrmann – CEO of Vivantes Company; Mrs. Mareike Steinberger Vice Principal of Goethe Academy in Hanoi and all of 110 students of the 3rd course.
