Awarding the Medal “For the cause of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs” to Mr. Song Kil Yong, Director of EPS Center in Vietnam

On December 25th, 2017, at the Head Office, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) held the Ceremony awarding the medal "For the Cause of Labour -Invalids and Social Affairs" to Mr. Song Kil Yong, Director of EPS Vietnam. Attending the ceremony was the Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep, representatives of the Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry’s Office, the Department of Overseas Labour, the Center of Overseas Labour and the representatives of the relevant units; Representatives from Republic of Korean (ROK) Embassy to Vietnam and relevant agencies.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Ministry's Leadership, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep congratulated and acknowledged the positive contribution of Mr. Song Kil Yong, Director of the EPS Center under the Human Resources Development Agency For the Cause of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs. The Deputy Minister emphasized that the cooperation between Vietnam and ROK was not only labour export but also in many fields. Namely, ROK is one of the leading investors in Vietnam - which has created many jobs and contributed to the development of Vietnam, the cooperation programs between the two countries on Occupational safety and Health, Development of the labour market network ...

Since 2015, Mr. Song Kil Yong in the position of the Director of the EPS Center in Vietnam has actively contributed to promoting the regular MOU between the Ministry of Employment and Labour of Korea and MOLISA on May 17th, 2016. He is also authorized by Korean HDR, in collaboration with Vietnamese authorities, to organize Korean language examinations and skills for Vietnamese workers wishing to work in Korea. In addition, he also has actively participated in the propaganda and dissemination of legal knowledge to Vietnamese labourers working in Korea, contributing to mobilize the workers to return to the home country on time ... These are the contribution for the development of the EPS Program in particular and for the labour - invalids and social affairs in general.

Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep hoped that Mr. Song Kil Yong would continue to support the increasingly strong cooperation between the two countries in general and between MOLISA and the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labour in particular.

Expressing his gratitude to the leaders of MOLISA in the ceremony, Mr. Song Kil Yong honored to receive the medal of the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs. Mr. Song Kil Yong shared that during the working time in Vietnam, he received a lot of support from his colleagues, the agencies, organizations of Vietnam. He affirmed that in any position, he would continue to support actively the cooperation in order to promote more and more developed successful relations of Vietnam and ROK.
