Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung receives National Devotees Delegation from Dong Thap

On December 11, 2017, at the Headquarters of the Ministry, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung had the warm meeting with the delegation of people who have contributed to the country from Dong Thap province on the occasion of the Delegation visit to Hanoi. Attending the meeting, Mrs. Do Thi Hong Ha, Deputy Director General of the Department of National Devotees.

In the report at the meeting about the visit of the delegation to Hanoi and the work of care for People with merit, the movement "gratitude" of Dong Thap province for the past time, Mrs. Le Thi Hoa Nang, Deputy Director of the DOLISA Dong Thap said that, there have been over 55,000 beneficiaries, including over 18,000 martyrs, 410 revolutionary and pre-revolutionary contributors, 1,818 Vietnamese heroic mothers, 44 Army Force Heroic, More than 8,000 wounded soldiers, more than 1,600 revolutionary contributors imprisoned by the enemy,…
Besides the preferential policies of the Party and the State is aimed at improving the daily life people with meritorious services to the revolution in the province, for the past time,  the province has had the following achievements: Mobilizing for "Gratitude" fund was over VND 152.7 billion to build 11,902 gratitude houses, totaling value over VND 257.3 billion; Support for repairing 3,961 gratitude houses, totaling value over 37.7 billion; …
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Day of war invalids and martyrs, Dong Thap province has organized activities to mark the 70th anniversary of Day of war invalids and martyrs in accordance with the direction of the Government with many practical and meaningful activities.
Speaking at the meeting, some representatives thanked for the warm welcome of the leaders of the Ministry and the Department of National Devotees,... Besides this, the representatives also expressed their hope that the Ministry would pay more attention to the revolutionary contributors imprisoned by the enemy, as well as recommended with the Ministry  to settlement some policies related to living standards, the review the dossiers to ensure that the meritorious people enjoy the right policies of the State.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung noted and appreciated the contributions of generations of people who contributed to the revolution of Dong Thap province in the wars of national liberation. At the same time, the Deputy Minister highlighted the achievements in the work of "Gratitude ", taking care of material and spiritual life for the families of meritorious people of all levels andsectors in the province. "The Party and the State have paid much attention to people with special contribution to the country and the preferential policies have shown the determination of the Party and the State to take care of material and spiritual life of them. However, compared with the sacrifices, that is only partially compensation, partly to reduce the loss, tremendous sacrifice... In the past time, with the new policy is amended, The Party and the State continue to adjust the policy to suit the subjects. With the goal of striving to improve the lives of people with special contribution to the country in the coming time, MOLISA would continue to study , propose policies to improve the lives of people with merit ...
Also at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung also shared that the visit of the Delegation was also an opportunity for leaders of the Party, the State and ministries and sectors having a chance to meet, exchange and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of people with merits in order to gradually complete the system of preferential policies in accordance with the reality...
